The Villa Asterina is a well, equipped, meticulously renovated farm house overlooking a breath-taking vista of the Aegean coast. We stayed on the top floor.
Even in the cold and rain the view was spectacular and the tranquility so overpowering that even restless travelers such as I find themselves snuggling in an armchair with a book with some ouzo and with the wood crackling in the fireplace and the chestnuts boiling (apparently that's the proper way to prepare them in Pelion).
The Villa has a well equipped open plan kitchen with basic utensils, an excellent shower and good beds and linens.
It is not appropriate for people with mobility q stair issues (but then again do think twice about this area as a destination if you do have a problem since accessibility is terrible everywhere)
