“Lovely getaway”
Reviewed 12 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Spent a lovely long weekend (Sat-Wed) here with all the family together again (with visiting boy / girl friends on a couple of days too). The cottage was very comfortable for the 4 of us with the little "snug" lounge being a bonus that we hadn't expected. Lovely garden overlooking the sheep field and Branlow Callow in the distance (visited it several time on the dog walk). Jo made us very welcome (thank you for the lemon drizzle) and managed to accommodate our 3 cars (thank you). The bed and bedrooms were huge and very comfortable.

“The most stunning place to stay for a relaxing break.”
Reviewed 22 February 2016 for a stay in February 2016

From the moment we arrived till the time we left we had the most amazing break. A beautifully well kept, well equipped cottage. Everything we needed was there plus some. The views were simply stunning and the walks around the area perfect. The most comfortable bed, just like home away from home. Most definitely want to get back there as soon as possible. I would recommend this cottage to everyone, but only if you're after a quiet break. You won't get disturbed by rowdy music, or such like here, just the sound of birdsong in the mornings. Idyllic!

Liked best: Waking up to the stunning views.
Liked least: The rubbish wifi connection, but that's only to be expected so far rural.

“A Peaceful and Pleasant Stay”
Reviewed 22 November 2015 for a stay in November 2015

We only stayed for one night on a stopover to Snowdon however the cottage was beautiful and cosy, all of us said we'd love to visit again and stay for longer to enjoy the peaceful scenery. Added bonus was the beds were so comfy and warm! Thank you Jo

“rural comfortable cottage”

We arrived late and it took us a while to find the property.
Bedrooms are roomy. Beds comfortable.
On-suite shower room - pressure of shower not great.
The outside area is nice but sadly does not catch the sun in the afternoon/evening.
There are two living area's. The main living area is quite dark but there are standing lamps to give ample light. We did not use the second room; one larger room might be better.
Heating is by storage heaters and there is a wood burner.
Our stay was overshadowed by a fault in the electric system which resulted in 3 sleepless nights as it was impossible to sleep with the racket coming from the electric board. The owner should have taken action more quickly.
