Just got back after a fantastic week in a Beautiful cottage overlooking St Micheals mount (WHAT A VIEW) We didn't want to go out in the morning and when we did we always tried to get back before dark so we could enjoy the view of the castle at sunset. The cottage itself is Stunning and everything you could wish for is catered for I highly recommend you book and stay here you won't regret it at all it will probably leave you wanting to come back for more . To be honest I don't know why I'm writing this because it could make it harder for us to book next time and we will definitely be booking again LOVED IT
We had a wonderful time here and were sorry to leave. A warm, comfortable home from home with the added benefit of a stunning view. Upon arrival we found a laid table with a bottle of wine and a prepared meal in the fridge which was excellent. We ate out a couple of times at the Cutty Sark and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone. Lands End, The Manick Theatre and St Ives all worth a visit but the local area is hard to leave. We were accompanied by a Grey Seal while on a beach walk and the local bird life gave us a lot of pleasure being sable to view them from the lounge. Thank you both.
We spent the most wonderfull week in Cockleshell for our honeymoon.
The location and views are just amazing, we used the terrace every night.
We had an excellent meal waiting for us when we arrived, ans all the little extras were most apprieciated.
The cottage is really close to the local bars and resteraunts which are incedible, the food at Ben's Cornish kitchen is amazing fine dining (you need book though) and the Kings Arms has the most fantastic pub grub.
We cant wait till our return visit, Sue was a lovely host and gave us loads of ideas and advice for day trips.
If you are lucky enough to book this cottage you wont be disapointed, it's the best holiday cottage we've stayed at in the UK
Thanks Sue and Simon for our perfect honeymoon
Pre holiday communications were great and as you approach Marizion and the Mount bursts into view, if you are human, it will take your breath away!
The cottage has everything you need and more and that is not including the view. It would be impossible to tire of watching the changing tides, Horace the seal, a variety of bird life which all play to the backdrop of St Michael's Mount and the daily drama of crossing the causeway before, after or more often than not during the tide flowing back in.
Everybody is so friendly. We felt immediately at home and have rebooked our next week in January to experience it all again in a different season.
Thank Sue and Simon.

Fabulous cottage had all the mod cons you could want.
Was lovely to have a meal waiting for us after a long drive down. All the little extras provided made this a 5* plus cottage to stay.
The views were amazing which made it very difficult to want to go out at all but once out their are lots of places to visit.
