Stayed here in September with my partner.Last minute holiday so we just wanted a cheaper holiday wasn’t expecting 5*.

The hotel itself is really clean the room are spacious with comfortable beds.

Two pools one big pool and plenty of sun loungers. There is a little shop on site for essentials.

Location isn’t great like three restaurants in ferragudo and the hotel is on top of a really big hill. Its not a long walk but it is one of the steepest I have ever been on.

Did we enjoy our stay? Yes we had a really good time very relaxing food was nice at the pool bar and we just chilled.

Would we return again ? No location wise there is just no where to eat out on a night not much choice

We stayed here for the first time because our usual hotel was quite expensive so we opted for this as a cheaper option. The resort is situated on the hill behind Ferragudo so is a steep resort and anybody with mobility problems should be aware that access is a bit more difficult. There are very good onsite facilities including a restaurant, bar, gym, small shop, launderette, three outdoor pools and a snack bar. Our apartment was huge with a great terrace overlooking the estuary. There is a very limited kitchen with no oven so preparing a full meal is nearly impossible. We collected fresh croissants from the mini market for breakfast and they were lovely. This is not a place to come if you expect to be entertained onsite, you need to get out and about and that means hiring a car and exploring. We ate at the onsite restaurant “Purple” and the food was very good and the service excellent. Would definitely recommend.

It says something that this is now our third visit to Vitor's in eight years. Its become the place we return to when we want a relaxing comfortable stay in the sun between other adventures.

The high standard of previous years has been retained with well maintained and updated accommodation and an attention to detail from staff that really should be the standard everywhere in the world.

Its reassuring to see familiar staff faces each time and thats probably testament to the amazing team atmosphere.

Thank you again Vitor's. I'm sure we will be back again soon.

Stayed 11th-21st April. Weather let us down abit, 5 nice days out of ten. The rooms are very spacious and meticulously clean. It has a very well appointed kitche with 2 hot rings and a microwave, even comes with a corkscrew and bottle opener. The shop on site is adequately stocked. We walked to Lidls on our first day. A good 30 minute walk and the area does look run down on the way. 10 minutes from the hotel is a square with plenty of restaurants, expect to pay about £15 for a main course although some are quite a bit cheaper though I would describe more cafe than restaurant. We ate in the hotel one evening and paid the same as in the square for what I would describe as a more refined fine dining. There is not evening entertainment and if the weather is poor this can be a disadvantage. You have to provide your own pool towel, a sign in the bathroom tells you you can't use hotel towel around the pool. The pools aren't heated and we're too cold to swim in. The bathroom doesn't have any shelving which limits you to the sink area to store your toiletries. There is no full length mirror in the apartment. Like others have said Vitors is on top of a hill and it does tend to be wi day. It is a steep slope down into the square and the pavement is broken and dodged underfoot in places. We got excellent wifi signal in our room and the TV has plenty of English speaking channels.
