What a hidden gem this little brewery turned out to be but well worth the drive. We were the only visitors at the time and James allowed us to take a table and chairs out into the sunshine where we set up our own picnic food and washed it down with a selection of Black Dog beers. We purchased a good selection of the beers to go as gifts as well as for ourselves. Well recommended if you are in the Glenrowan area. Just keep following the signs to the Glenrowan vineyards about 15 Klms out of town.

Great little microbrewery set up ~2012 by the (4th generation) winemarker of Taminick Wines. Small range of interesting beers to sample in century old winery with a view of the vineyard. Wines also worth trying & they have accomodation.

This was a great little find on our way home after a (so-called) scenic drive through Warby-Ovens national park. We saw the signs and followed a few kms of dirt road to make it there just before closing time. The brewery is co-located with Taminick Cellars (Wines) in a classic old shed with large barrels lining one wall. We tried 3 beers, with the drifter and pale ales being our favourites. Both the beer and wines were well priced and we left with bottles of both. Peter served us and we particularly enjoyed his company and stories of the area as a third generation owner of the winery.

Had not been there for 20 or 30 year's. Still has the same welcoming feeling. Not a beer drinker but did try pale ale, very nice . Venue was nice, the only downside were the pizzas, the bases lacked flavor naybe a little salt? Base not cooked properly and a little expensive. Still the atmosphere was very good.
