We spent one week in Casolare Il Condottiero at June-July 2015 with my family, my parents and my hubs parents.
Very nice and beautiful villa with amazing view. Pool and garden were great, specially for children.
The owner was very friendly and told us some great tips about Tuscany.
Thanks for amazing vacation!
We embarked on a trip to Tuscany with our family of five, with our children, Oscar 8, Alex 7 and Nina 5. A handful of travelling enthusiasts and pool junkies. Joined by an equally
excitable family of three. Both families enjoyed the property and found it cozy, suitable, and genuine. The location is wonderful, with a great view and well maintained grounds. Quiet and relaxing, welcoming and well appointed. Rooms are generous and comfortable, affording a nice view of the valley. And for those who have restless little feet, pit patting around, they can play soccer at the mini pitch on the hillside and then jump into a refreshing pool, or simply enjoy a stroll through the olive grove and the garden. We would also recommend the restaurant in the neighbourhood, reasonably priced and serves authentic local food. Family friendly and opens late for those active bodies like us, with day trips to neighbouring Florence, Arezzo, Sienna, Pisa, San Gimignano, and Rome. A week at Casolare ll Condottiero was a cultural and a culinary celebration for all ages.
I went to Toscana with my friends in September 2014.That traditonal Italian house was the perfect choice! The Casorale Condottiero Holiday Hotels has got a large garden on the hill and it's located in the near area of a 1000 years old annual Castle. There are lot of Olive trees in the garden, beautiful swimming pool, outdoor barbecue (where we had a fantastic party and we listened old Italian music, it was great). The house is perfect at all: clean, comfortable, the design and the furniture is wonderful. I recommend the hotel for friend groups, or families who want unforgottable experiences!
We rent Il Condottiero for one week in October and we found what we were looking for: kindness of the owners, a peaceful atmosphere and a relaxing stay.
Despite the weather (some days of rain) we enjoyed our stay visiting many nice tuscan villages like Castiglion Fiorentino, Cortona and Anghiari.
In the sunny days the view from the pool was amazing as well as the sunset.
We had great dinners in Castiglion Fiorentino at Ristorante Da Giuda and Osteria dal Lello.
It was nice to visit also the friday local market together with a walk in the ancient walls.
The experience was awful: the house is in poor condition, very old kitchen with terrible kitchenware. Hot water in bathroom runs only after 10 minutes of turning the faucet.
Wifi does not work properly.
The view form the house is to industrial zone and the road construction is in progress (October 2014).
Also bear in mind that road to the house is very narrow, literally for one car only.
We were very disappointed by all this dissonance with what was promised.
