The hotel is beautiful and immaculately kept. It is on a hillside with stunning views. The breakfast and dinner are excellent although not a lot of choice for vegetarian/fish eaters. One feels that one is in a private home....don`t try to move anything. Lovely smallish pool not usable after 19:00 which is disappointing after a long hot day sightseeing. It would be nice to have sunshades around the pool to provide some shade. Wifi works (just about) in bedrooms and in parts of the sitting room but not strong.

This hotel is perfect. It was just as lovely as when we last visited nine years ago. A view to die for. Fabulous food. Complete peace and quiet. Perfect for couples but we took our six year old and he enjoyed the walking, the pool and the gelato.

This property is an absolute dream..... offering the finest quality throughout, gorgeous views, excellent location, spectacular swimming pool and outstanding cuisine, all at reasonable prices. Such superlatives are not an easy aggregate to accumulate but this a bode does it in spades.
This gem of a little hotel has the added benefit of superb hospitality. the interior of the hotel has a refreshingly light, uncluttered appeal. Our room has wrought-iron headboards, white bed spreads and a superb bathroom. Its tres chic and tres, tres romantic.

The best part of this hotel was the beauty of the place and the hospitality. The meal was wonderful, especially the breakfast prepared by a charming old lady in their kitchen. I chose this place because it was owned by very traditional Italian people, and I was right.

This is a great place for people who don't have a car but want to stay in a not touristy vila. You need to ask the hotel to arrange a taxi in advance but otherwise it is manageable. Get off at Castiglion Fiorentino (between Rome and Florence), and probably 10 minutes taxi ride (30 euro). There are not much to do around the hotel without a car, but I think just sitting by the pool in a quite Tuscan village would be enough! And just wait for the wonderful dinner (not included).

Room Tip: Very quite hotel in a small quiet Tuscan village.

A charming hotel with about 10 rooms all differently decorated. The owner Mr Protti was very nice and welcoming and provided helpful tips on where to go and how to get to the nearby historic towns. The home made breakfast with traditional cakes, focacias, local cheese and freshly squeezed juice was a delight. The staff very always very polite and friendly. We will definitely stay there again...!
