“A lovely little retreat”
Reviewed 28 May 2018 for a stay in May 2018

What a place! The cottage has been renovated to a great standard.
Feels like a home away from home!
Having originally stayed here in 2015 we have booked it up again this year.
I'm familiar with the area and if your looking to stay local this should be at the top of your list!

WOW - what a great review, thanks Stuart. We just love when guests enjoy Kirkgate Cottage and the area as much as we do.
We love walking the Fife Coastal Path and the golf and always have a little time for a spot of shopping in St Andrews!! We discovered the food festival at the Bowhouse the last time and they are on throughout the year. We also had a lovely lunch at the East Pier restaurant in St Monans.... sitting in the sun and eating delicious seafood. Try it on your next trip if you haven’t already. The Dory has now opened in the village and we shall try that the next time we visit.
Really appreciate you taking the time to write a review and look forward to welcoming you back to Kirkgate.

“Perfect peaceful pet friendly cosy cottage”
Reviewed 8 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Kirkgate is a fantastic, quirky, peaceful, upside down cottage! It is very well equipped and tastefully decorated, there is everything you could possibly need! The wood burning stove in the upstairs living room is a delight to relax in front of after exploring the Fife Coastal route and surrounding areas. The cottage is a short stroll to the picturesque harbour and coastal path. The local hotel allows dogs as does the Cocoa Cafe on the high street. The Chip Shop and baker are excellent but only accept cash. We had a fantastic stay in this lovely cottage and would highly recommend it.
