Delicious fresh food. We love it all especially the bento boxes. The arlic scallops are the best. Staff are absolutely lovely.

A beautiful lunch with a good selection of dishes served in a simple and relaxed setting. Service was quick but unhurried and friendly accommodating the two adults and two children (3 and 5 years). Quality, fresh food and very reasonable prices.
Our first time here was for my birthday and it definitely won't be the last. In fact, my wife will be stopping by to buy two of their lunch box specials today.
We decided to share a variety of entrees and I suggest people do the same. The soft shell tempura crab was a good size and the batter itself was light, crispy and airy. We've already decided to bring a friend who is mad for vegetable tempura here as a welcome home dinner.
The pork gyoza were nicely cooked with the right amount of crispiness. Karaage chicken was a delight.
My unagi don was beautifully cooked and so tender that I could easily separate it into mouthfuls with the end of a chopstick. The sauce appealed.
Wife's poke bowl hit the spot. I should note that we placed our order with the waiter because QR code ordering doesn't allow you to request that it come without sea urchin. Neither of us are fans. Besides, we like to interact with wait staff when we go out.
Speaking of which, from what we could see they were quick, efficient and friendly adding to the overall experience.
I won't spoil the surprise about the presentation or the taste experience regarding the mocha.
The place was half-full on a Tuesday night with two large tables seated. Customers came in for takeaway throughout, but the noise level was never at the point where you had to raise your voice to have a conversation.
Food pricing is what you would expect for something that's as good as this. Drinks pricing is very reasonable. There are a variety of alcoholic beverages available at acceptable prices as well.
The only thing I can suggest in future is a beef carpaccio to add to the three seafood ones on offer.
Small family group of us went to the Ureshii Japanese restaurant in Tuggeranong for dinner yesterday evening. We were blown away by the equality of the food, the restaurant isn’t much to look at décor wise, what matters here, isn’t the quality of the tables of the wall hangings it’s the food and we really couldn’t fault it.
It was the best meal I have eaten in a long time, a very long time. For me the smoked eel and the sashimi were the highlights having said that the tempura starters were up there … OK by local standards it's not cheap but when you consider the quality and excellent service the prices are reasonable.
If this restaurant were in Civic or Kingston, here in the ACT then the prices would be seen as seriously good value for money.
A true hidden gem, that is until you find it. Very much looking forward to a return visit and trying something new on the menu. One thing is certain I’d return just for the smoked eel and tempura alone.
Sorry, no picture we were far too busy eating, to have been Facebooking our diner. Next time.
