We stayed here for five days (Monday to Friday) and it was just amazing. We have three children (8,6 and 3) and they adored their first glamping experience! The lodge itself is wonderful - electric, hot water, heated mattresses, sofas, seating. The beds were so comfortable and my 8 year old daughter loved sleeping in the cabin bed - in her own little cupboard!!
There was a lot of outside space for the children to just run - and a lovely football pitch that you could keep an eye on them from the tent (sitting on the patio sipping wine!).
The kitchen was equipped enough for our stay - perhaps a washing up bowl would have been handy just so that you could wash/rinse dishes with the tap whilst the bowl is in the sink if that makes sense! But thats a very minor detail.
We will definitely be recommending your lovely campsite to everyone we know :)
From the minute we arrived until the minute we left this was an excellent short break. The setting is beautiful and peaceful but close enough to Glastonbury, Cheddar Gorge etc for those who want to venture out. The facilities are first class coupled with excellent communal areas. Loved the 'larder' and the honesty box, so great to see a trusting environment. The little extras left for us such as fresh bread, milk etc were also a great touch. Jono and family were attentive but also gave us all the space we needed. Can't recommend this enough.
This was a last minute booking which was an absolute gem. In a peaceful location located within in a few miles of Glastonbury . The lodges are in immaculate condition and well presented and very comfortable. A true home from home. Everything you need is provided for your stay and everyone is catered for. There is a small honesty shop on site (you pay at the end of your trip for items used) which has essentials for your stay. The games room is well equipped so even on a rainy day there is something to do. The owners are attentive and very welcoming. Colin the dog also comes to visit and he is by far the happiest little dog ever!
Excellent glamping experience near Glastonbury in five star safari style accommodation. With only four lodges carefully spaced in a large field, privacy was assured and our fully functioning “tent” had a large verandah, spacious sitting room and modern, sensibly kitted out kitchen. Very comfortable bed and stylish shower room. Lots of sockets, hot water and a wood burning stove (not required in the high summer of ‘18), with a barbecue per lodge plus communal barbecue area for a larger group. Ideal under-canvas experience for those who don’t like camping and rural enough for those that do.
