I called into this pub on Monday night after going for walk from Haywards Heath to Lindfield. There was no issue in making tea for me and the music (which was 60's Soul),friendliness of staff, decor of the place made for a pleasant visit and I will call again.

Thank Steve M

We popped in for a drink as it was a hot Sunday afternoon. We sat in the large quiet beer garden and had drinks. We could not order any food as they had stopped cooking after Sunday lunch, but there were some Yorkshire puddings and roast potatoes on the bar as free snacks. The pub was quiet and cosy and the staff were pleasant. We looked at the menu while we there and will be returning to try the Sunday roast.

Thank Robert G

Light and airy friendly pub. Visited with small group of friends. Lovely to be surrounded by gorgeous dogs. Efficient waitress but the friend who chose sea bream had very small portion and it was expensive! Looked more like a starter. No sauces offered to accompany. The deep fried halloumi and chips tasted fine but why were they served on a thick wooden board? What is wrong with a rectangular china plate which can go in the dishwasher afterwards? Thick wooden boards are not very hygienic! Other pubs serve food on a piece of mock slate. Why?! Water on the table was welcome. Not sure if there is a car park or not so parked on a busy road on a bend. There is a car park nearby but is it for the new houses or the pub - no signage? Has 5 stars for food hygiene showing on the door.
