“Lovely House in Tranquil Setting”
Reviewed 8 September 2014 for a stay in August 2014

Large house and cottage in tiny hamlet. Lots of space outside with swimming pool. Charming towns and activities nearby. Great to unwind and relax. We have been 2 years on the trot

“Lovely barn conversion with fantastic on site facilities for all ages.”
Reviewed 5 September 2014 for a stay in August 2014

This was our second visit to this comfortable, large family home, with our daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. Its large swimming pool with a lavender backdrop, and adjacent field with large trampoline, badminton and table tennis areas meant that adults and children were happy to stay on site most days. However there is lots to do in the surrounding area as well when a change of scene is needed eg canoeing, velorailing, visiting Lascaux caves, lovely Chateaux Perigaux etc.

“A great place for a Family Reunion”
Reviewed 21 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

We were a family of 6 adults & 5 young children using both the main house and cottage. The rooms were well appointed throughout with 5 bathrooms all told which made life easy! The main house had a good laundry room, garage room for bikes etc well appointed kitchen.
Outside was a super swimming pool loved by all and in a lovely setting. Plenty of space and play equipment for adults & children alike. There was also a great terrace for family dining. We were also invited to pick a scrumptious range of vegetables and fruits in the kitchen garden at any time.
Panassac is a tiny hamlet with nearest shop 5km away. Peaceful, quiet and relaxing (even with 5 young children!). Plenty of walking tracks and safe running areas and the house also had a range of cycles to use (and a mass of DVD's).
Lots of places to visit within reasonable distance and good local reastaurants not far away.
We liked the peace & quiet best, or as my wife said serendipity. The only criticism was there was no "What to do in an Emergency" (doctor/dentist/fire etc) when a family member needed medical treatment but we told the owner, Jeanette, who promised to correct without delay.

“A lovely house for all ages”
Reviewed 7 June 2014 for a stay in May 2014

We stayed for a week in May and could not fault a thing. We made full use of the facilities: BBQ, trampoline, bikes (including my 88 year old father in law!), table tennis and pool. Even a rainy afternoon was not spoilt as we had a good selection of DVDs to keep us all happy. A good location to visit some of our old favourites like St Jean de Cole, Domme, Sarlat and Brantome and discover new places such as Excideul.
Jeanette met us on arrival and explained everything we might need to know about her home and the area. Having Wifi was a real bonus.

“Fabulous vila”
Reviewed 29 May 2014 for a stay in May 2014

An excellent villa, with everything you could wish for.
It was brilliant to have the bikes to cycle down to the local village and also the surrounding beautiful countryside. We loved the fact that each bedroom had its own bathroom. The setting was fabulous, in a remote little hamlet yet not far to visit beautiful places such as Sarlat, Brantome, St Jean de Cole etc.
