We arrived after 2:30 pm to be told our room would no be ready until after 4:00 pm
This seemed to be the norm as there were other guest sitting in the bar area also waiting for their rooms
(Also on next day of our stay our room wasn't cleaned until after 5:00 pm)
Room when ready was small and furniture was tired and in need of replacing.
The room was clean and the bed comfortable, the view from our room overlooked the holiday village, as does the view from the restaurant and the bar area.
The furniture in the bar and the reception areas are at best be described as scruffy with stains and torn seating
As we we were celebrating a special event we had dinner in the restaurant on one of the two nights we stayed. We had an excellent dinner, the waiter was also excellent and we very much enjoyed it.
The staff are very friendly, and very helpful
The walk down to the small beach is also very nice

Be aware there is only one small lift to the bedrooms. it is very slow and we found ourselves climbing the stairs to our 3rd floor bedroom rather standing n line waiting for the lift.

With some updating this could be a really top hotel as it obviously is already very popular judging by the amount of guests staying when we were there

Room tip: Bedrooms at the front of the hotel 3rd floor will give you views of the sea. Rooms at the back of the hotel overlooks a holiday village

Myself and my husband stayed here for 3 nights on our mini moon and we absolutely loved it. It was exactly what we needed just after our wedding it was total peace and serenity.

Our room was perfect, great size. Bathroom was lovely. The spa was out of this world and the our door pool was amazing!

Food was gorgeous in the bar and the restaurant. We would highly recommend here I can’t wait to go back!

The room was on the small side but very clean with a big comfy bed. The lunch (bar) and breakfast were ok. The dinner was delicious and the evening restaurant staff were particularly friendly. The staff are lovely and helpful generally. We loved the spa facilities. No treatments but spent several hours enjoying the pool, hot tub, sauna etc. One of our dressing gowns had a couple of holes in it and was fit for the bin. Bizarrely the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night, very disturbing at 5am, and there was no mention / apology the following morning. A gesture would have been appreciated.

I've stayed here several times in the past including during the snow when staff went out of their way to help as best they could. On this occasion myself and my best friend went to spend a night ( 19th March ). I had specifically requested that we have a room with a view and indeed had sent an email into the hotel as Karen had requested. When we arrived my friend saw the receptionist scribbling out the no. on the cards for the room (307 ) and instead gave us room 245 which had a view onto the carpark ! It was disappointing. However, as always, the rooms are lovely, the beds very comfortable with excellent bed linen and the spa is wonderful. Bar food was superb although wine list is expensive. We had salad, crab linguine and then in the evening both of us had outstanding burgers. Cocktails are amazing. Breakfast is good. I'm heading here again for a special birthday and booked in for May 10th - it really would be wonderful if this time I am allocated a room with a view and possibly a balcony !

Dear Reviewer,

Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback of your recent stay at Seafield.

We work hard to look after the many requests we receive here and are driven by availability of specific rooms - we are sorry to read you may have been disappointed with your room allocation however all of our rooms are of a deluxe standard and we are happy to read that it did not impact upon your overall stay.

We appreciate your kind words in relation to your accommodation, Bar food and Breakfast.

Looking forward to welcoming you to Seafield very shortly for your special Birthday.

Kind Regards,
Ronan
