1 review Lovely conversion with everything you need for a week or two's stay - very clean and fresh and easy to keep warm when the gales arrived for our final day! Genuine welcome from Joey and Ian - thank you for the milk, biscuits etc and for pointing us towards the Carloway show. Highly recommended for a peaceful and relaxing holiday; lots to see and do within easy driving distances as well as a lovely bay for evening walks.

First class accommodation in this fully equipped cottage. All furniture and equipment are brand new.
The cottage is in the best location to visit all Lewis and North Harris.
Some personal suggestion: Uig Beach and its smoked salmon, agricultural shows in Lewis and Harris, Golden Eagle observatory at Meavaig, Luskentyre beach.

A short drive from Stornoway but far enough to have it's own beach! We had a fantastic stay in this lovely, newly refurbished, cosy cottage which comfortably sleeps 2 adults. Excellent directions and communication from the owner who went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a week FULL of magical adventures! So many things that we loved about this place, particularly the views and the short walk to the beach. It was IMMACULATE inside and out. There was also the comfy bed, the power shower, the coal/log fire, every cooking appliance and gadget you'd ever need for home cooking and picnics. So many small details that made our stay extra special - binoculars, picnic blanket, separate towels for the beach, flasks for taking on hikes, books about the area, external coal/log bunker, a pint of milk in the fridge on arrival! Even the neighbours were super-friendly. We cannot wait to return to tour Lewis & Harris and will recommend Tigh Na Beart to everyone we know. THANK YOU for making our holiday so special.

Ti na Beart is situated on the West Coast of Lewis, but only 20 miles away from Stornoway on the East Coast. The roads are empty, so only less half an hour away by car!
The accommodation is newly converted to a very high standard from a Weaving shed to well insulated accommodation [needed in this part of the world].
It has benefits of very good electric shower, Induction Hob and Microwave/Standard oven, with Washing machine, Fridge and Freezer built in, plus Internet. Whoever designed this conversion did an excellent job.
For those who don't know Harris and Lewis [ONE island, not two] will quickly realise that this is situated very close to the main Historical sites on the Island.

1 review I have just returned following the most wonderful week on the Isle of Lewis/Harris. Tigh Na Beart is a beautifully decorated home that is clean, comfortable and equipped with everything required to make my stay a delightful one. It is located in a very peaceful location. There is so much do in the area surrounding the house but is also very well situated for visiting other beaches and popular attractions.
