The cottage is small and full of character, with a huge (though not enclosed) garden, in a very quiet area. This made for a very peaceful relaxing holiday. The owner is friendly and helpful. Comfortable beds and a good shower.
It felt a bit like staying in a friend's house, as it was full of the owner's possessions, including clothes, food etc. This however meant little storage space for our things. The description of the property did not make clear that to access the upper bedroom it is necessary to go out of the house and through the lean-to, up some steep wooden steps, so that anyone sleeping up there has no access to bathroom, toilet, kitchen etc. Also the fridge is in the lean-to, meaning that you have to go outside every time you need something from the fridge. Umbrellas are provided however! Not major inconveniences, but worth knowing. Still a very pleasant place to stay, but the price does not reflect these inconveniences.
