It was costly to go in, but we felt obliged. The atmosphere was great and the main show was entertaining but really as far as zoos go, it's not the best. There are big pens for a lot of crocs but there isn't much else and once you have seen one croc you have seen them all. They are working on a new Africa section, which is a bit bare at the moment. The Erwins are great, it was great to see the family, we were going enrouteIt but I would have been disappointed if I had made a special trip.

We went in peak season, saw Bindi and Bob with Terri and Wes in the midday show - they brought Steve and his dreams alive. The entrance, carparks and entire complex is so so clean and A1 quality, certainly is on a par with all world zoos. I was suprised having done many many zoos around the world. What was different was your ability to interact with the animals all day - koalas, wombats, kangaroos, tasmanian devils, elephants, birds... without any extra costs. Staff compare with the warm friendly professional hospitality of Disneyland, just add the Aussie charm. If you have the time, I would purchase a personal tour of an animal and you can experience some unbelievable time with the zookeepers and their animals. We will do this next time we visit.

Animals are kept in a natural setting with lots of room. It is very clean. The Crocoseum show is amazing! The staff is very friendly and helpful and they answer all questions one might have. It is the best zoo I have been to, absolutly a must see!

Wow, as long as you are prepared to part with your cash then you'll have an amazing experience unlike any other. My daughter was able to get up close and 'play' with 2 six month old cheetahs. My son and I had a Tazmanian Devil experience where we got to go into their enclosure to hold them and talk to their keepers to learn all about them.
At lunch we ordered chicken nuggets and chips for our son and found it odd to be asked how many chicken nuggets we wanted - they were $1.10 PER NUGGET!!!! Wouldn't have been so bad if they were big, but I can assure you they weren't.
The kangaroos were great too.
It's a lovely 'zoo' as all the staff REALLY care about the animals.
