The view is gorgeous but there are other high points you can visit. The place is always busy (not anyones fault) so obtaining some peace and quiet is impossible.

You will certainly be fascinated by the wonderful view of Balneario Camboriú and the massive building along the beach. It's not as big as Rio de Janeiro one, but you'll enjoy the view.
If you enjoy seeing the city from the top of a mountain, that's ok. But there are other places to appreciate the whole city with much more interesting things to do.
There is an entrance fee of R$ 15,00 from 4 pm to 7 pm. From 7pm forwards the fee increases to R$ 30,00. Up there is the Christ, (maybe they tried to copy the Christ the Redeemer, from Rio), it is holding a light. The statue changes colors and it's about it. If you are Catholic, maybe it will mean something for you. The place was opened by Pope John II. There is also a restaurant that apparently serves all kinds of dishes; from pizza to lobster; there is a stage and a dance floor. We didn't stay to eat because it looks expensive and we couldn't find any reviews on the restaurant.
I wouldn't go if I knew all these before hand.
Nice to have a great sunset scene from up the mountain, not much to do there. Nice view of the city too
The view of the city was worth the 15 $BRL fee. We went during the day so it was quiet and we missed the light show. The statue itself pales in comparison to Christ the Redeamer in Rio but it was worth the time to visit. I was pleasantly surprised by the Nativity on the walk up
The Shuttle is free of charge, but he drives only once an hour.
The entry is not so cheep, but the view at night is wonderful!!!!
We didn't eat something there, because the prices are very high.
(70Rs = 20€ for a pizza is not acceptable)
