Pros:

Hotel is beautifully designed

Cons:

Extremely disappointed in their breakfast selection. Breakfast is part of their expensive room charges and yet the selection was so limited. They didn't offer juices or milk for kids, they served bangus that wasn't deboned, and on one day all they had was scrambled eggs. At least give us the option to opt out of breakfast if that's all they are going to serve.

Our room for 6 did not come with proper blankets. And when we asked for it, they said that our rooms really did not come with blankets and we had to pay for a duvet if we wanted it. To make do, they gave us extra bed sheets.

Our bathroom had a broken drain, and a lousy shower head. No hooks to hang towels, and NO hand towels or face towels were provided. In fact, you are only given 1 towel per day and should you wish to change your towel, you have to pay a fee.

Our bathroom door had an opening in the center which they "sealed" with paper, thumbtacks and tape.

We came back at 6pm one day and found our room in the same state we left it in at 8:30am. There really is no excuse for this.

Overall it is really disappointing because we stayed in Siama 3 years ago and enjoyed our experience. The hotel is beautiful and has A LOT of potential with proper management. But At the moment, it doesn't seem like anyone is in charge.

Place is beautiful. Great for relaxing and taking photos. The pool is really nice and has a portion shallow enough for toddlers to play. But that's all there is to it.

Staff may be friendly but aren't quite knowledgeable. Wifi is limited to the lobby only which could be better if the rooms have wifi too. Sadly, the lone wifi in the hotel is really slow. 3G is weak so phone data is out of the question. Our family room didn't have a phone, or complimentary water, fruits of some sort. There's no ref, kettle, iron, not even a hanger in the closet! The bathroom didn't have hooks where you can hang your toiletries or clothes. They didn't even provide toothbrush and toothpaste! So much for a luxury place. And the whole lobby which has the dining area as well permits people to smoke. I didn't see any no smoking sign though but still, there should be a designated smoking area as there are kids and elderly in the premises.

Food was nothing special although I liked their pasta. If ever, try their creamy shrimp pasta which I really liked. The rest, were nothing special. I wouldn't recommend the place because I feel we didn't get what we payed for. It's too expensive with really substandard service and less inclusions particularly in our room. There's too much lacking for the price.

After we checked in, suddenly the whole place had no electricity so we just stayed outside and waited because they did not have a generator. The electricity came back after 4 hours. Time wasted. The bathroom inside the room had no door so anyone can see you taking a dump. No TV, No WiFi inside the room despite paying more than $150 for the room. I will NEVER, NEVER, NEVER EVER check in to this hotel again. WORST EXPERIENCE!

Room Tip: Don’t book this hotel.

First thing’s first - welcome drinks. Fresh coconut juice with the coconut meat.
I love the ambience. Unplug and be off the grid, literally - the ONLY wifi connection you’re gonna get is from the lobby, and the sole television set is also located there. Slow connection to the digital world aside, you are truly one with nature in this hotel. I love the modern industrial feel fused with the big wood and rattan furniture. What captured me the most are the sliding walls in the main lobby/dining area that are made of rattan instead of glass.
The rooms are nice, big and clean as well. The slight downside is that they have no phones in the rooms, so the only way to call for room service is thru cellular phone.
The pool is only open until 8 pm, so you can’t really have a night swim after dinner.
The hotel staff, room service, and the lobby is only open until 10 in the evening. So, whatever it is that you need, you have to request it beforehand.
They have free breakfast and they also serve set meals per person (but is served to share) for lunch and dinner, which you can’t really choose from because there is no other choice for the set meal. However, there is a cut-off time for ordering because the ingredients are still to be bought from the market. Another upside though, free-flowing coffee in the main lobby/dining area.
Although they have an available wheelchair and have ramps coming and going to the main lobby/dining area, you still have to go through stairs in going to the rooms and to the second floor.
The staff are really friendly, helpful and accommodating of our requests, double thumbs up!

We arrived in Siama Hotel that evening. All 18 of our Batchmates from UST HS 68. Tired of travelling from Manila at 4:00 a.m. dawn flight and being in a bus from Legazpi City, we we all longing for a nice hot bath and the warmth and comfort of bed. We were three girls in a room which was quite spacious. A Twin bed and a single bed so we were all comfortable. The bed linens were newly washed and smell of a nice fragrance as well as the fluffy pillows. The only minor issue was we cant seem to operate the aircon well which stayed at 27 degrees. Good the weather wasn't hot that night. Breakfast was free and came in with the room. Coffee was strong to wake us up and we had a good meal from pan de sal to the normal rice and viands. An impressive factor was the well kept olympic size pool which shimmered in the morning light and the well grown fern trees and shrubs that provided a resort feeling in the grounds. The lobby furniture was superb and the hard wood tables and chairs were architecturally well built. Interesting hotel indeed!

Room Tip: The rooms fronting the pool and grounds are nice.
