Three generations enjoyed 4 days at Coconut Lagoon. The setting is paradise. The staff are very helpful, sometimes too much so. They had extra special events for the Christmas holiday which were lovely. The accommodations were very comfortable. We stayed in the "mansions" which are two story units with the bed on the 2nd. Very unique and fun though anyone with mobility issues will be challenged even staying on the first floor as one has to climb through the doorways and step onto a riser. Watch where you walk! In addition, the pathways on the property are lovely old cobblestone which proved challenging for our group.
The food was good but not exceptional. The Indian dishes were very spicey, even by Indian standards. In addition the food seemed overpriced. Finally, please know that the bar means beer and wine only. I highly recommend picking up a bottle of booze if you like a cocktail. More
