Went on an inpromtu work meal, found the pub to be warm and inviting. The group was made to feel welcome and the drinks ordered at the bar were quickly sorted. The food was quickly brought to the table, cut up as requested. I had fish and chips, the batter was crisp, the chips molten and fluffy. The one downside, no disabled loo, however I knew of an accessible one nearby so not a big deal

Haven't been to the plum in ages and good to see that they still do the early bird 2 course specials.
Delicious food, nice friendly staff and food delivered quickly.
Only criticism is they need to change their tonic supplier... and mentioned it to them when paying. A pink gin with fruit, £3.90 but the fever tree tonic was £2.20 for the small bottle. £6.10 is too expensive.

The Pickled Plum has a great atmosphere for the price which you’re paying for the food, excellent service and amazing if you have an appetite about you... just seems to be missing something, wouldn’t recommend for a couples as a fancy night out but good for a pint with the fellas or even a nice meal out with the family.
