Description: Welcome to the Queen Elizabeth, a community owned Traditional Village Inn and Restaurant in the heart of the beautiful and historic Worcestershire village of Elmley Castle. We offer a welcoming, comfortable hostelry in the great tradition of this recently renovated 16th century building. With a wide selection of real ales, ciders, and wines, whether you are looking for a quick drink with friends, a warming cup of coffee and pastries, a good value bar snack or a more formal meal to celebrate a special event, the Queen Elizabeth is the right place to come! We also offer a special welcome to the many walkers and cyclists who come to enjoy the wonderful scenery around Bredon Hill. Our name commemorates the unusual visit of Queen Elizabeth I to rural Elmley Castle in 1575. There was much excitement when she and her entourage arrived on 20th August to stay as guests of William Savage. It is not clear who stayed where but we like the story that the Queen stayed at the Inn!

Wednesday evenings are our very popular Pie, and Fish & Chip menus. Delicious locally handmade pies, and freshly delivered fish cooked to order - eat in or takeaway. We are really pleased that you enjoyed your time with us, and even more delighted that you opted to share your experience for others - thank you. Perhaps next time you may like to try our Steak Night on Tuesdays, or perhaps our Sunday Roast Lunch menu ? Or our newly launched Summer Menus with a wide variety of fish dishes ? Hope we can tempt you to visit us again soon !!

We went to the Queen's for our son's 18th birthday. The food was superb and the staff were really friendly, efficient and helpful. What a great night.

Thank you for your feedback, and we are delighted that you enjoyed our traditional Sunday lunch, and wide selection of beers. Very regrettably, our smoking shelter was destroyed in the recent inclement weather, but we are about to build a very smart replacement which we hope will stand the test of time, as well as the weather. Do visit us again to enjoy a much more comfortable smoking area !!

We went for a meal at The Queen Elizabeth Inn Elmley Castle on the 6th April 2018 on the evening, there were 14 of us, the service was 110% nothing was too much trouble, the food was fantastic, seeing as there was 14 of us I did wonder if the food would come out staggered like other pubs I've visited, but it all came out at the same time, excellent, we asked for extra sauces BBQ mayo etc and they came in bowls so more than enough for us all.

Cracking atmosphere staff always had a smile on their face, checked we were ok, had lots of bottles of water, drinks from the bar, as I say nothing seemed like too much trouble. Would definitely recommend the pub if you're in the area, even if you're not I'd go out of my way to go there.

Called at this restaurant for a drink last week and decided to stay for a meal. It was excellent. We had lamb shank, and steak. Both meals and service were first class.
Been several times before when on holiday in the area and will certainly do so again.
Thank you Q.Elizabeth.
