Our first trip to Italy, traveling with friends. Stopped here for lunch and had a fabulous experience. The owner suggested that we share three items from the primi menu: the first was a little asparagus omelet (really more like a crepe), filled with creamy egg, cheese and asparagus; the second a simply delicious barley and vegetable risotto, and the third, pasta with duck ragout. We shared two desserts: a rich chocolate brownie-type confection with fruit and a little sponge cake with fresh strawberries and cream. All accompanied by good wine. Wonderful! Our trip included a wonderful culinary tour and many excellent restaurants, but this was a highlight.
