A charming B&B in the delightful town of Esperaza. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a lovely view of the river and bridge. Breakfast was generous and our hosts Roy and Jo could not have been more kind and helpful. A memorable and enjoyable stay. Highly recommended.

Deceptively large inside, this property recently renovated some years ago to a very high standard by the previous owner, an architect, is a real treat.
We received a warm welcome and a cold beer, which was ideal after a long motorcycle ride in the heat. Our rooms upstairs were exquisite, my room was so large it had two double beds in it with room to spare. Looking out to the bridge across the river was pretty with the colourful flower boxes, both on the bridge and on the balcony railing. A modern ensuite completed the room nicely.
Breakfast was fresh continental and plentiful. Most enjoyable.
The hosts, whose names I didn't catch, looked after us exceptionally well. After breakfast we were given some information of the history of the town which was very interesting. The town was very busy in those days, with hat manufacturers employing many thousands of the local inhabitants.
The house itself is a result of four previous properties being knocked into one. Giving one a superb feeling of divine splendour.
I certainly will recommend a stop over here if ever you should find yourself in the area of Esperanza. A visit not to be missed....

The rooms are very large and nicely decorated. A capsule style coffee machine is a fantastic bonus. The fridge on the common landing has milk and water. The hotel does not have its own parking but there is plenty of parking directly opposite and only a few metres away. The balcony of the room overlooks the car park, river and quaint bridge.

There aren't many restaurants to eat at but the two deli's and the creperie are adequate for a couple of nights. There is a supermarket just around the corner which is very handy.

If you're looking for a beautiful place to lay your head, enjoy a quaint village and watch the world go by, then you will love it here.

I have to commend the owners for running such a marvellous operation and really thinking about the little things that make a good stay, an excellent stay. Well done.

We had a pleasant experience while staying with Roy and Jo in their stylish and cozy B&B in the small town of Esperaza. It is situated by an old stone bridge crossing Aude river. There is free parking just across the road. We had a room on the second floor with a small bathroom attached. It was tastefully furnished, clean and quiet, facing a back street and terrace. The bed was comfortable with great quality bedding. The free Wi-Fi was reliable. There was a coffee machine with a good supply of coffee and tea in the room and outside in the hall, together with plenty of reading materials. The British hosts were welcoming and ready to offer helpful info about the town and region. The breakfast was copious with a fresh fruit salad and delicious pastries. Esperaza is a small town, but it is surrounded by beautiful nature and is conveniently located near major tourist places such as Rennes-les-Bains and Carcassone. We would definitely recommend this accommodation.

This charming small hotel is so good I almost do not want to write a review so I can keep it a secret! When we arrived we were offered a larger room with a balcony, the room light and bright with charming and tasteful decoration. Roy and Jo are very welcoming and warm and our Dog was made very welcome. We were given great advice about the area and where to eat. Breakfast was superb, lots of options with pastries, fruit and breads. Parking is easy and free, there is a small car park across the road. We plan to be in the area fairy frequently and have no hesitation in booking for a return stay.
