Not sure if I want to share this place with anyone but that wouldn't be fair to Maxine and Tony, who are the kindest most attentive hosts ever. We had a lovely welcome from them both including a basket of essentials . We had also ordered the breakfast pack which was more than enough for the four of us for the weekend. Everything in the apartment is well thought out and comfortable .....including the beds.! It's handy for buses and trips into Durham and further. We were there for the cricket, not too far away either. Nice little village with a small local shop just up the road and a great local ( the travellers rest ) with very good food. We had a short walk through the fields at the back of the apartment on Saturday, we could have ventured a bit further but it started to drizzle. Sure it would be much nicer on a sunnier day. We fully intend to return on our way up to Scotland later in the year, hope you'll have a vacancy....looking forward to seeing you then Maxine and Tony. We wish you every success in the future.
