Famous for the "pecora in Umido" this place is dated 1870 !!! it was in front to the old tram station which was connecting the town with Florence, this is way it's called Tramway trattoria.. So much history and so much old culinary tradition, I love these authentic places, not fancy or pretentious but they give you the "real deal" when is about eating and ....not forgetting.
The entrance is a small shop where you can buy food as Baccala' (cod), ragu alla bolognese, meat cut, Cantucci di Prato famous biscuits to be dip into Vin Santo as tradition.
I think I will go there for lunch and dinner tomorrow as well!!
