This a great barn conversion with loads of space both inside and out. It's very well equipped and offers a great venue if you're holidaying with friends or family. The new pool area also has an outdoor kitchen which is fantastic idea, particularly if like me, you like to do some cooking when on holiday. It's amazingly peaceful and quiet given its town location which also means you're just a short walk from the local bar, restaurants, boulangerie and shops. We will definitely visit again!

Ours was a late decision to get away from the dismal British weather. The forecast was good for the Languedoc region, somewhere we had never ventured before. There were several options available for cheap airline travel and we plumped for Ryan Air to Beziers. On arrival in Ginestas we approached the huge old stone wall of the property and opened the small gate, to be greeted by a beautiful courtyard pool/patio/outside kitchen area. Up a short stepped rise we entered the heavy wooden door to be amazed by a huge ultra modern interior, extremely well presented. This area contains the kitchen, dining and sitting amenities, with a modern log burner focal point. The bedrooms, bathroom, toilets and shower rooms are simple in design but with good furniture and fittings. The property is very well maintained and has all the features you would expect in your own home.
Ginestas is a charming old village, although a little quite in January. However the restaurants and bars were lively with very friendly locals. The lunch time menu at the 'three pigs' has to be experienced and is excellent value at less than fifteen Euros for three courses and a glass of wine!
We did a little touring of the surrounding area; the famed Canal du Midi is a short drive away and well worth a stroll along the towpath, on a warm afternoon.
We had a great short break to experience a new area of the world to us and would not hesitate in returning.
