“Amazing! The Best Attraction in Villa - Dali Meets Gaudi!”

This was the best and most unexpected treat in all of Villa for me. All of Villa ...

I thought it would be a hackneyed experience - some architect out to make a buck but boy was I wrong. This place is extraordinary and made me think a lot about living inside an artwork. It really opens up your mind to amazing possibilites.

The grounds are curious and playful with cheeky statues here and there. But the interior of the house is the real gem. I was grinning from ear to ear inside, looking at the amazing books in nooks, the roof hideaway balconies, the clever asymmetrical windows - the whole place blew me away.

Forget about the complaints about cost etc that others have left. They just don't get it at all. It's really cheap for the experience you get. This should be a number one choice to see while in the area.

Thank James T

Great house. Different from all other houses. Unique.

We walked here from Villa de Leyva and it was worth the walk and the 10,000 entry fee (earlier reviewer said this wasn't worth it for the time spent there, but it didn't feel as if anyone was limiting our time on the grounds). House is awesome and functional, so many rooms and a lot to see inside and out.

Beautiful quirky terracotta house but very expensive for the 15 minutes you are going to spend there...

This is a “must do” when in the area. The house is stunning, entirely made of terracota, it is amazing. Reminded me of Gaudi of Barcelona fame, lots of similarities. I never expected to have this sort of experience. Thoroughly recommended.
