stayed the first 2 weeks of august and cannot praise this hotel highly enough. arrived late on friday evening, quick check in and helped to our room with our bags. we stayed in a ground floor room in the block nearest the bar/restaurant, our room had 2 twin beds and a set of bunkbeds. we also had a fridge, kettle, cups, glasses and a few bits of cutlery. our bathroom was quite compact but perfectly adequate for holiday needs. we had clean towels provided every day, beds made every day and bedlinen changed every third day. our whole room was spotless and the cleaners are lovely people. the pool area is fantastic, no need to reserve sunbeds and is also kept clean and tidy. we had quite a few meals at the hotel including sunday dinner which was awesome, the food here competes with any restaurant we ate in town if not better, best chips in sidari!! the staff are all very nice as is the owner. bar prices are pretty much the same as the rest of the resort. this hotel in my opinion is in the best location for everything, nothing is more than a 10 minute stroll away, there are restaurants and pubs at the end of the lane if you dont want to go into town aswell. safe deposit boxes behind the reception desk and aircon are extra but reasonable. i rarely leave reviews but this place deserves one as its the best holiday i have had in years and will definitely be returning!!!!

Stayed the beginning of August for 2 weeks we my hubby and 2 young children. It was our first holiday in Sidari as a family alrhough me and hubby had been previously without the children. Initially only booked Sellas as our first choice hotel had closed down and Sellas was in our price range whilst still being in a central location.

The Sellas apartments are split over 2 complexes (both smallish in size)situated opposite each other down a small track just off the main strip. On one side were the smaller apartments, reception, bar and snack bar area as well as pool and sun area and on the other side were the family 2 bed self catering apartments (used to be Nostas apartments) which is where we stayed. This complex also had a decent sized pool and baby pool.

Location - set up a short track between Jens cafe and 3 pigs the apartmebts were in a great location in the middle of the strip and the canal d'amour. Upper rooms benefitted from partial sea view.

Apartment - split over 2 levels with kitchen, toilet and 1st bedroom on one floor and bathroom and 2nd bedroom on upper floor. Apartment was basic, as are most in Greece but fine for our 2 week stay. Had two balconies both of which were shared with our adjoining neighbour but this wasn't an issue. All rooms in the Nostas part have a pool view. Plenty of storage for clothes. If I was being picky I would say the only downside was lack of sockets. Only one in our bedroom was located behind the wardrobe so we were unable to plug in our mozzie repellant leading to a fair few bites. 2 sockets in kitchen which we used for everything and then there were 2 in the upper room although one had a dressing table in front of it. Posters in room stated maid service 5 days a week but they were in every day. TV in bedrooms - we couldn't get any channels but wasn't an issue

Pool area- Didn't benefit from music or bar like the other part of the hotel but this wasn't an issue at all and we could also use the other pool if we wanted. Plenty of sunbeds. First week no issue with getting any but second week a nber of sun worshippers reserved beds then disappeared all day. Only 4 parasols in pool area so get there early if you have small children or use the other side which also benefits from tables in the shade. Pool was a very good size, very clean, cleaned every evening and separate baby pool also good. Area gets sun all day long.

Amenities - safety deposit boxes can be hired 20€ for 2 weeks but 10€ refunded when you check out. Boxes are located in room behind reception which I was a bit sceptical about at first but didn't pose any problems whatsoever. Boxes are actually more like drawers so you won't be able to fit anything valuable like cameras in them.

Air con is also payable. We had budgeted for air con based on previous years prices given to us on trip advisor however when we arrived we were shocked to see that the price for 2 weeks was 160€!! Needless to say we didn't purchase air con. The room was hot at times but as we only really used it to sleep it wasn't that big a deal but I would definitely recommend it.

Bar/snack bar - Bar open until last person leaves. Very good drinks and food menu, both reasonably priced. Drinks were of a decent standard and both the food and drinks catered for children with a kids menu. Purchased food was tasty, fresh with good sized portions. Bar has an indoor area with tvs showing news and sports and a covered outside area with wicker chairs. Very nice area with music playing. Also a pool table which costs 2€ for a token to activate the table. Table has seen better days but certainly playable once you get used to it.

Entertainment - No entertainment as such however the odd show was put on ( 3 during our 2 week stay) which were of decent quality and were acts found on the strip on other nights. Plenty of space for kids to run around or knock a ball about if they want.

Staff - this is what makes this place! George, Mimosa and the other staff are the most hospitable hoteliers we have ever met. Nothing is to much trouble and they welcome you into their fold. Mimosa is very good with the kids as is George (he even made a bed for our daughter when she was tired very early one evening). They all took the time to chat to guests and find out about them and offer advice on where to go and where to eat. We drank with them a few nights and they happily drank, chatted and socialised with us. They became like friends.

We were very sad when our 2 weeks was over but we will definitely be back next year - in fact they have offered to help hold our wedding reception there

This was our 3rd time at the Sellas Hotel and once again we had a great time. The apartments are very clean. Having been at the Sellas before, we requested an apartment on the 3rd floor of the block furthest away from reception facing the hills. George the owner duly obliged in giving us room 503. The apartment and the other apartments on this side get the sun until it sets, so there is no shelter from the sun, which we don't mind. George the owner, Lauren who sees to the bar and meals during the day and Mimosa who takes over from Lauren are absolutely great people. There are no negatives about this hotel. Thank you to the maids and all the other staff. We will hopefully be returning next year. The hotel is about 500mtetres away from from the main strip and about the same to the Canal D'Amour bars and restaurants. We can certainly recommend the Romana restaurant which is next to the church in the old village square, but it's advisable to book a table a few nights before you go as turning up on speck may leave you disappointed. I can also recommend the Village Garden restaurant and Sea Breeze restaurants. Going back to the Sellas Hotel can I say many thanks again. Before I close this review please visit the Sea Monkeys beach bar, Andy and Fiona are a great couple. Yammas

Stayed in two bed apartment in annex a short walk from hotel (annex made up of two small blocks with its own pool). Good pool with plenty of sunbeds. Good sized rooms with full kitchen split over two floors, each with balcony and sea & pool view. Great central location near to the main strip and beach. Nice bar and restaurant area with friendly staff. Paid for aircon which worked well.Towels and sheets supposed to be changed 3 times a week but was not the case for us. Not enough spare plug sockets.
