Stayed at Olga's from the 4th to 14th September. From booking in at reception to leaving, everything was great. Lady at reception advised all we needed to know and personally took us to our apartment. Apartment was brilliant. One of the best we have stayed in throughout Greece. So spacious and clean. We had room 302 which had a large lounge separate bedroom 2 balconies and lots of wardrobe space. Bathroom had shower over bath. Shower was so powerful and hot it was wondrous! The owner was really nice as was receptionist and lady behind the food bar and the cleaners were great. In a fantastic area at canal d'amour with bars and restaurants close by and if you wanted the lively Sidari strip this was only about a 10 minute walk away. Would return here and would recommend.

Room Tip: Pool view upper corner room has 2 balconies

Stayed with family in 3 studios 305 311 and 315. First impressions were apartments were large and clean with basic furnishings. Beds and pillows were on the hard side and some sockets were wobbly with stain marks where they had previously blown. All apartments had balconies but walls were low so lacked privacy when neighbours were also sitting out (other hotels looked the same so must be a Corfu thing).

There were 3 people staying in our apartment and cutlery/crockery was kept to the bare minimum ie 3 tea spoons 3 plates etc which meant constant washing up - yes you could say this was technically all we needed but it would be very cheap to provide a few extras and just reminded us we were staying in budget accommodation, which is all we can afford in school hols.

Air con was an expensive at 75e per apartment for a 2 week hol. It is bizarrely located at ground level and made only a marginal difference in 2 apartments. It made absolutely no difference in apartment 311 which also smelt permanently damp/fusty.

Maid service was very good; 6 days a week and towels changed every 2 days. Staff we spoke too were pleasant enough and communal areas dusted regularly.

The pool & bar.... very expensive for soft drinks but great value for breakfast which includes coffee and OJ. Barman was quite curt but not rude or unhelpful as others have mentioned. The pool is good with a gradual slope to deep water and a very small shallow toddler area. Despite there normally being adequate loungers several guests dumped their towels to 'reserve' them early on before having their breakfasts or walking off elsewhere. These were then left unused for sometimes hours. Mainly British people - shame on you if you did this!

The area.... apartments are located fantastically for experiencing the local area - right next to the beautiful Canal D'amour coastal area, where sunbathing, boating, exploring, swimming and diving are popular with waters in many coves shallow for a long way so great for families. The apartments are a short walk from a larger road so very close to shops, bars and restaurants but weren't affected by road noise. The only things that let the area down a bit was the amount of rubbish piled up by waste bins and the number of persistent street vendors which sometimes extends into bars/restaurants (lucky lucky men, rose ladies, buskers and those selling things for charity).

Restaurants were cheap for main courses and we were spolit for choice. We liked to stay away from the 'strip' (as some have said like Blackpool) and turned right at the bottom of the road or right further down where the Three Little Pigs restaurant is. Particularly good finds were the Orchard, Ionian Blue and 50/50 Taverna all with very nice friendly and helpful staff and excellent food. Konaki and Kahlua clifftop were also good. If you like a good full English for breakfast you won't go wrong at Smuggler's Inn and Seamonkeys.

Trips to Kassiopi and Corfu Town are well worthwhile and I also enjoyed a boat ride from the jetty to the sparesly populated Ericousa island. Local street agencies offer good prices and we decided this was preferable to hiring a car for nervous types like us!

Location; Fantastic as you have the pool and behind the pool you have steps to the sea and Canal D'Amour access is at the other side of the pool. You are a 5 minute walk to the main strip and the main beach is a couple of minutes walk away.
Staff: This is a family business like most in Corfu and they cannot do enough to help you. They have food available from 9am to 5.45pm and have a wide range available. Best club sandwiches around. Spyros, Olia, Toula and the lovely receptionist but I cant spell her name and don't want to muck it up...get Spyros to make you cocktails he amazing at it.
Accommodation: Very clean, very big apartments, free wifi and aircon and safety deposit boxes are extra. I don't cook in the room but I know you have everything you need as other people cook and do'nt have any complaints.
Myself and my family have visited this hotel for years and we meet our friends every year and the owner Mike is a total legend. There is nothing that is too much bother. I had medical issues and Mike arranged doctor and run me back and forward to the doctors and when we could not fly home he accommodated us even though his hotel was bursting at the seems.
We think of the family as part of our family and will be back to see them next year.

Room Tip: I have been in lots of rooms over the years and they are all as good.
