This was the best hotel of our trip so far. You can't beat the scenery. Care has been taken in the restauration of this beautiful chateau. The rooms are perfectly appointed, spacious and well designed bathrooms. Comfort and elegance rule here.

The location on the edge of the river just outside Bordeaux makes it a perfect location to explore the region. The Chateau has been beautifully restored and the gardens and pool area create an oasis of calm. The staff and owners could not have been more helpful. This was the highlight of our holiday in Spain and France, we could not fault it.

Beautifully restored and modernized Chateau. Large well decorated rooms. Very large and modern bathrooms. Spacious and comfortable common areas. Delightful swimming pool. Nice breakfast. And just outside the busy city, so it's nice and quiet along the river banks.

We only had the chance to stay for one night, but enjoyed it nonetheless. The Chateau is beautiful, it appears the rooms have recently been de orated based on how unblemished they are. The formal public areas are equally as well decorated as the rooms.
It’s located on the banks of the river, although it’s not the prettiest. I had a quick swim in the pool which is nicely landscaped and quite secluded.
They have serve yourself wine which comes at a cost, but was a nice touch.
The only downsides are:
It’s very remote and not in the most scenic part of Bordeaux, surrounded by high voltage power lines and concrete manufacturing facilities.
On the morning of our departure the Chateau lost power so we could have breakfast nor could my wife use the hair dryer etc. this obviously isn’t the Chateau’s fault.
I loved our stay but may not stay here again due to the remoteness and reliance on a car.

We stayed 5 nights and occupied the beautiful spacious suite with the terrace overlooking the river. Beautiful location, charming chateaux and gorgeous surroundings!
The service was excellent from the time we booked the room to the end of our stay. The staff was very attentive and made multiple reservations at wineries and restaurants. Interestingly, the person at the front desk was super efficient and served multiple roles as concierge (made reservations), chef (went into kitchen to prepare our food order), and server (set up our table for dinner and served us).
The location was perfect as we visited many wineries in the Haut Medoc, and St. Emillion region. It was away from the hustle bustle of Bordeaux centre and we made good use of our rental car visitng wineries or going into the city for dinner.
