“Excellent hotel!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 March 2012

My wife, our two children and I had the pleasure to return to Buri Rasa this year and stay there most of February. We are truly impressed by this hotel, specifically by the staff. They are extremely helpful, professional and at the same time pleasantly relaxed. We also very much appreciated the high quality of the food and the tranquil surroundings. The staff, in particular Khun Oar, interacted in a very natural and fun way with our children. Our children still ask when she will come and live with us :-).

My recent stay at this hotel was excellent , regarding the food and accomodation . The staff were very friendly and most helpful . The garden setting was most enjoyable and relaxing. In all this was a great holiday, I shall be returning later on this year.

Room Tip: All the rooms were very comfortable.

This was our second stay at the Rasa and again we were not disappointed at all. I have been told that the resort was renovated late 2010 and thus all rooms look very new and nice. We opted for a deluxe room which was perfect enough for us. (Last stay was in 2009 and we had a dip pool room)

What has improved clearly here is the service level, from Rezeption to spa and restaurant and beach, all staff we came in contact with were absolutely brilliant. Especially Mr. Chart and Ms. Porn at the beach club restaurant were very delightful. The beach is clean and the sea was also okay, even though a bit choppy but still safe to swim. I understand that as of March it will get more calm again…..

Food and drinks were a bit more expensive but that is normal for a resort of this level. We tried Ninja Crab next door, but the hygiene level is just below par and though its cheap, it can get expensive if you get sick. Still the restaurant is usally busy, guess one has to take the chance sometimes.

Other places we tried were Prego (Italian Restaurant), Oceans 11 (mediterranean) and Zazen (fusion) which where all excellent.

Thank you again for making our stay so delightful.

Wow. We stayed three nights at the Buri Rasa, and I could have stayed forever!!!

The hotel is BEAUTIFUL. The rooms have private gardens, where you can sit and read a book or just relax in the quiet, peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are big and beautiful, the bed is very comfortable, and you even get a pillow menu with four or five options to suit your pillow taste.

The staff comes to the room around 6pm and leaves a small snack with a personalized note card, wishing you a pleasant night.

The breakfast buffet is AMAZING. Everything is clean and delicious, and there are several á la carte items you can order, free of charge. I had an egg white omelette and my boyfriend had poached eggs, and both were excellent. There were several types of cheese, cereal, homemade yogurt and bread (white and whole wheat).

The bar is really good, and there is a happy hour promotion every night. The drinks are good and not too expensive.

The pool is beautiful, a black granite pool with salt water. There are chairs by the pool and also in the sand (the beach is right there).

The staff is very nice, and the service is really excellent.

I would definitely stay here again if I went back to Koh Samui!

My wife & I arrived at Koh Samui airport on 9th Feb.2012 and caught a taxi to our hotel Buri Rasa Village. Our taxi drove us down the main street of Chaweng Beach, even at this time of day 2:00pm, busy noisy and you can see lots to do.
Our taxi pulls up in front of a bank of wooden steps which have been blocked by a delivery truck, so we start to unload our luggage from the taxi when 3 young men in costume arrive. They swiftly take our bags and climb the steps with us following. At the top of the stairs we step into an oasis of quiet, gardens and tranquility, we are stunned. The team manning the front desk quickly check us in and we are swiftly taken to our room, walking through garden paths. Our room is large with a big bathroom which includes a traditional Thai shower, a balcony off the main room with lounging sofa, inside a large canopied bed, and a sofa. We have been traveling for 5 weeks and this room is so relaxing. We go for a walk around the property down to the beach, which is beautiful, also there is bean bag beds along the beach for the guests.
Our booking includes breakfast, and I must say it is one of the best we have had on this trip. The staff at Buri Rasa are just amazing, helpful, very joyous, always smilling and a great source of information from where to shop, where to eat, everything.
We have been telling our friends about Buri Rasa and would stay here again without any hesitation.
Wonderful place the management have got this right........Congratulations

Room Tip: If you are a family request a ground floor suite with your own soaker pool
