A bit off the beaten track but after a day driving up the autoroute from the south of France it was well worth the extra travel.
From the moment we arrived and were greeted with a cold drink (local cider for us and water for our dog) we had a great stay.
The food in the restaurant was excellent and the whole staff went out of their way to ensure you had everything you needed - even supplying colorful blanket wraps to ward off the chill as we had our drinks outside before the meal.
Very peaceful and we will return.
One bit of advice if like us you are planning to visit with a dog. Do try and request a ground floor room as we were given a room on the second floor which made it difficult to get the dog up and down the stairs (no complaint as this was the type of room we booked at a given price).More
