I was lucky enough to stay at the Alpi for 2 weeks. It is a lovely old style hotel with a huge dining room and comfy lounge areas. My ‘single’ room was actually quite big with a double bed, armchair, desk and spacious wardrobe. The shower was a bit capsule-like but I appreciated the heated towel rail for drying out washing overnight. The wifi worked just fine and there were a couple of English speaking channels on the TV. My room had a balcony with a view of mountains. The meals were fabulous; plenty of variety and delicious! The dining room staff were friendly and cheerful. Each night for dinner there was an amazing salad buffet as well as 3 choices of both primi and secondi and a variety of desserts. Hopefully I’ll be back to the Dolomites again and I’d definitely stay at the Alpi!

Located within a short walking distance to the gondola this hotel is really perfect for skiers (and hikers) every tiny detail in the hotel from the cleanliness of the rooms to temperature at the sauna is perfectly maintained by the family who lovingly runs the facility.
The one attraction that will surely bring me back here in the future is the amazing dinners prepared by a very talented chef who married into the family.

Absolutely fabulous, don’t miss it.

Dear Ahikam A,

Thank you very much for your great review, we are very happy that you enjoyed your stay in our hotel.
We are pleased that you also enjoyed the meals, our chef is from Val di Fassa but he is not part of our family.
Vladimir is the partner of Stefania and he runs his own restaurant 50 metres from the hotel, also a great place for excellent food!

In the hope to welcome you again in our hotel we send you our best wishes from Campitello.

Everything was just perfectly done. From the beginning the staff was really understood. I booked a room for 6 days but actually I could stay only 5. The staff was really kind with taking the price for the sixth night down. Rooms are really comfortable and also very clean. Everyday the room was cleaned and towels were new. Restaurnant was just perfect. The food was 100% italian style. Service was excellent and food quality was incredibly. Also it was interesting that all the staff spoke at least 2 languages, which for me personally was suprising, because italians usuailly speak only italian :)

Room Tip: All rooms are with balcony

This hotel is really terrific. It is run by a family who speak Italian, German and English. They are always willing to help in every way. It is run in an eco way, with concern for the environment is one of the most beautiful places on earth. There are views of the Dolomites from every room. The prices are modest and the food is fabulous. I can't think of a single negative.

Room Tip: All the rooms have wonderful views. The deluxe rooms are a little bigger and only marginally more expensive

We stayed for a week at the Alpi in January. I cannot recommend it highly enough. It is exhibit A in the case for family run hotels. We stayed there as a family in January 2004 and it is as good now as it was then. The dining room is terrific. The Riz family and their wonderful staff really care about their guests. We will be happy to return there with a spring in our step.
