The gite is an extension of a working farm house in the middle of the vineyards of the Mont Ventoux area. The owners only speak French and are very discrete. We were received with a bottle of free wine of the area, a bottle of home made preserved apricots, vegetables from their garden and a basket of strawberries from the local market. The gite was spotless. The farm has two gites, each with its own swimming pool. We initially found the gite hard to find as it is just off the road between Mormoiron and Flassan and the sign (Ferme Michel) is very small. However, entering "Michel 84570 Mormoiron" in your GPS, if you have one, will get you right in front of the farm. It is located in the vineyards and conveniently close to many interesting places to visit, such as Vaison La Romaine (Old city with roman ruins), Fontaine de Vaucluse, L'Isle sur la Sorgue, Avignon, etc. The area is popular for cyclists and the village of Bedoin has a well equipped bicycle shop. Definitely a worthwhile place to visit!
