“Perfect and comfortable location in Monpazier”
Reviewed 14 July 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Ideal location for the Town Square and amenities. Very well equipped town house with everything we needed and unexpected welcome 'goodies' on arrival.

Larraine, the owner, was extremely helpful and prompt to reply to any queries.

Jessie, the housekeeper, friendly and helpful.

MONPAZIER A MUST TO VISIT!!!

“What a great location - both the village and the gite”
Reviewed 3 January 2017 for a stay in September 2016

Although we were only able to stay 3 nights, we achieved a great deal by way of familiarising ourselves with Monpazier as the location was ideal. Full of character but completely up to date - a great combination of the old and the new. There is so much to see in the nearby countryside and the gite is a convenient location to settle yourself and take some serious touring days from there. We recommend it highly, you won't be disappointed.

“Beautiful gite in a great location”
Reviewed 18 December 2016 for a stay in December 2016

This is a comfortable, beautifully decorated gite on a quiet street but only steps away from all the shops and restaurants in this charming medieval town. And if that is not enough to do there is so much nearby to explore; a nearby chateau and beautiful country drives all around. We drove to Font de Gaume Caves to see amazing prehistoric cave paintings, only a 40 minute drive and well worth seeing! We spent two nights in the gite, where there was plenty of hot water, comfortable bed and sofa. We were able to park just outside our front door.
Only thing I would recommend would be for the owner to turn the heat up a little higher prior to arrival as it took a while to get it comfortable in late November.

“Bastide Haven”
Reviewed 15 December 2016 for a stay in May 2016

We had just spent 2 busy weeks touring in the UK and we were so thrilled when we arrived at this gorgeous house in Monpazier. It is very comfortable and everything is a short walk away. The wonderful plaza, the great cafes and restaurants, a stunning view. We wished we had booked for longer than a week. The house has everything you need for a fantastic holiday; wifi, cooking utensils, nice linen etc. We couldn't recommend it more highly.
