I was given a quiet room, as I had requested through Booking.com, at the end of a row of 'cottages' leading up from the hotel. It was very pleasant and spacious inside, and the bed was comfortable enough. The location is lovely, very quiet and close to Mt Teide Nat Park; the hotel was even enough to find, and is visible from the road, you drive up a short steep drive to get to it.
The wifi was very unreliable, it worked in the evening at the restaurant, but I couldn't get it in the morning and I couldn't connect from my room either. I found the quality of the food very basic, especially in the evening - I had rabbit, and it was served with some kind of congealed sauce, Canaries potatoes, and a couple of limp salad leaves; the house wine was also pretty ropey. There were various things to eat at breakfast, but the quality of food was distinctly average and the 'hot' food looked a bit sorry for itself and I didn't bother with it.More
