Stayed at the Abbey Lodge Hotel for 2 nights. Room was very clean, warm & a comfy bed with Egyptian bedding (bliss)! Tea and coffee making facilities, iron & ironing board, hair dryer & soft fluffy towels ! Breakfast was self service for cereals, teas, coffees & juice. Hot cooked breakfast is ordered with the waitress. All breakfast food is locally produced.

Room tip: Within walking distance to Saltaire.

On arrival the staff were friendly and helpful. Room was not as clean as we would expect, hairs in the bath etc. The room was very stuffy and we had to keep the window open while showering as the whole room steamed up. Malfunctioning fire alarm went off in the evening before we went out around 7:30pm which was obviously not rectified and then went off again in the early hours of the morning waking us and the rest of the hotel. We then managed to get back off to sleep to then be awoken again by noise outside the back of the hotel at 6:30am and then the alarm went off again at around 9am. When we checked out it we were not asked how our stay at the hotel was and it seemed they were avoiding the issue entirely. We felt it would have been nice to receive an apology at least. Overall for the price the of the room and a great breakfast (which redeemed the hotel from a 1* review) it is good value however all we wanted was a clean quiet room for the night which we did not get.

What a fabulous little hotel! My 1st time travelling alone with an overnight stay - on arrival i received a very warm greeting by the staff with my bags taken from me and carried to my room, with directions regarding facilities given on route. The room was well appointed for a single. Bathroom was compact but had everything needed. The bed was comfy and a large tv on the wall as well as tea & coffee making facilities.
Breakfast next day was made to order and it was excellent, better than some 4 & 5* hotels that I’ve stayed in previously.
I’m due to return shortly for a couple more business weekends and am already looking forward to my return.

The hotel is well presented. The rooms are furnished to a nice standard with everything you need. Breakfast was very nice. The parking is not ideal as you have to find a space along the road which means you can have a bit of a walk to the hotel. There is a pay & display just round the corner aswell.
Our bathroom smelt smoky which made our stay less enjoyable. We told reception when checking out & they were going to deal with it. I know this is not the hotels fault that some people are completely disrespectful so I have not let it effect the rating I gave the hotel.

We booked a twin and single room for 1 night, the rooms were clean, beds comfy, there was tv with free view and a couple of sky channels, there was also a desk and chair, hair dryer, ironing board and iron.the bathroom looked quite new good shower, and some small bottles of hair and body wash were provided.had a great nights sleep and the breakfast was brilliant, cooked vegertarian and full English ,there were also cereal, fresh fruit, yogurts, jams and marmalade, toast and croissants. There is a los a bar that serves until 12.00 a.m. but you can get a drink after this if you are having it in your room. The staff were polite and friendly and there was someone on call all night if you had any issues.on site parking is at the back of the hotel. The hotel is about 5 mins on foot into town centre, plenty of places to eat and good pubs, also salaried is only 5 mins away by car. Also free WiFi throughout hotel.
