Today we attended a lunch and wine tasting at this beautiful place. It included truly lovely food and a very informative and expert discourse regarding the characteristics and pairing of the various wines we enjoyed. The enthusiasm with which the information was given certainly added to the enjoyment.

As well as the several varieties of wine, we were educated about the local olive oil, and the 20+ year old delicious balsamico.

I was the lone vegetarian in the group, but my eggplant was equally as delicious as the meat dishes seemed to be to the other members of the group.

Spello is a beautiful small city. The restaurant is part way up the hill, an easy walk, surrounded by ancient buildings.

A visit to this restaurant was part of our organised Intrepid Tour . It included wine tasting and samples of local foods . I’m a non drinker so appreciated the fabulous flavours of the olive oil , balsamic vinegar and foods served. The owner also kindly provided me with a free cappuccino- very generous. The staff were all very friendly & attentive . Peaceful & shady surrounds - highly recommend!

We had a wonderful wine-tasting with dinner arranged by our friends. The owner is extremely knowledgable and a good salesman. The food was some of the best we had on our trip to Tuscany. I'm not sure if this was their usual set up, but we enjoyed ourselves.

We booked for a wine tasting with food and were not disappointed. We can highly recommend it. Generous portions of superb wines and good food. Host was very attentive and service was good.

Great and welcoming atmosphere. The quality of the food and the service was outstanding. The salad, wine, lasagnea and the starter was amazing. We would love to visit again.
