We loved our stay at Pamchal. After travelling in Iran for 3 weeks and experiencing some very very basic accommodation it was a relief and delight to arrive at Pamchal. We were very lucky to be given a corner room away from the main road which was large, light filled and comfortable. A room which was a pleasure to be in. We found all staff to be friendly and helpful - answering our questions and helping with a reasonably priced day tour to local sites. Location is a few kilometres from city centre and bazaar but taxis are plentiful and cheap if you prefer not to walk. There are plenty of delicious restaurants within easy walking distance of Pamchal.

I stayed at this hotel for 1 night. The hotel had been renovated recently but they couldn't keep the hotel clean. the bed sheets were very old and they didn't use enough detergent for washing them. the bathroom was clean and approximately spotless. the room floor was dirty and they didn't clean it. breakfast was not bad. the staff were friendly. the room was really calm in spite of being in a crowded location, although there was no view from the room.

Room Tip: Ask hotel reception to assign a calm room to you before reservation.

I stayed 2 nights in this brand new and freshly renovated hotel which could have been excellent. Staff were unusually kind and helpful: they rushed to the car to carry our baggage when we arrived, check-in was completed in less than 1 minute and almost all of them spoke at least some English.

The room was comfortable with strong A/C and breakfast was varied and tasty. Furthermore, the room was excellent value and the hotel well located.

Unfortunately, this is totally ruined by an incompetent hotel manager who doesn't pay the internet bills on time (so that the Internet was not working on the second evening of my stay) and who doesn't give proper instructions to the staff to make up rooms on a daily basis. When I asked for a discount because of those flaws, the manager sat in his office and didn't even come out to speak to me and apologize.

A big waste of what could have been a perfect hotel if it had been run by a competent manager.

- Hotel is well equipped and clean
- Badly situated for exploring Rasht and the Gilan region
- Wi-Fi not working
- Very unfriendly and arrogant staff, not helpful at all
- Instead of calling our own taxi driver, the hotel manager organized a befriended driver who charged the double price - mafia!
- Bad laundry service (cloths are one size smaller now)

You leave the hotel with a very bad feeling; staff fools you.

In the first sight, it is very clean and renew hotel in the middle of Rasht city. Very cozy with eye-catching view in the glassy restaurant.
Its restaurant is really comfortable and enjoyable for having breakfast in rainy days!
Not that much services there, but very comfortable as I can ignore its shortages like no minibar, or water in room.
