We stayed at Villa Santa Pazienza for 1 week in mid May. We arrived at lunchtime after an early flight from Stanstead and were delighted to find a fridge full of cold beer and beautiful surroundings. The villa is especially spacious and caters well for family/friends who want their own space. Each bedroom is seperated well from the others with a delightful communal central lounge/kitchen and outside space. The kitchen is well stocked, although we didn't do any cooking, as there are so many lovely restaurants to eat at locally and in Villasimius and Costa Rey.
You do need a car, we hired two small Fiats from the airport which worked well as the younger adults could go off by themselves exploring. The local beach, 5 mins drive away, is simply one of the best we have been on. It rivals the Carribean and Maldives (although the sea is a lot colder!). The golden sand is gently sloping into crystal clear water and in mid May we had the beach to ourselves. The beach bar though, was open and served delicious Caprese salad and beers. We took the umbrellas provided at the villa down to the beach to afford us some much needed shade.
In May many of the restaurants are closed as the season does not get fully underway until June, but this meant that the roads, like the beach were particularly quiet.
If you want a relaxing break from it all, this is the place to go!

We had a wonderful stay. We were welcomed by Matteo who agreed on a late arrival (1am) and waited for us in order to explain a few things, the owner is very helpful and speaks a fluent English so no issue at all. The house was very neat. The terrace is a big plus and really enjoyable (protected from sunshine). In order to reach the beach you will need a car. I would definitely recommend it.
