We come here every couple of months when we manage to get down from Johannesburg. For local restaurants, where casual eating is the way you do it, we rate service as very good when it is friendly and knowledgeable, and not in your face. Here service rises to top class. Come back once and you are remembered, as well as your preferences. Food is very very good. Chicken liver starter maybe a little heavy in the rosemary department (hell there was a tablespoon or two of it) but very good. Chorizo and calamari stew a delight. Pork belly incongruously the best we had tasted internationally until a revisit to Coobs restaurant in Parkhurst (that's in Johannesburg) last week where they have updated the dish. Well worth a visit, although I understand they don't need advertising as they are full most nights and certainly over the weekend. Did I mention the pukka dry martini cocktails?
