I booked this holiday stay for our 25th Wedding Anniversary and I couldn't have chosen a better property. We were warmly welcomed by Stephen who gave us all the information and gave us tips for things to do in the area.
The annex was spacious, well equipped with stunning views from the lounge patio doors. The first night we spent a few hours sitting outside, drinking wine taking in the views! .
It is centrally located with plenty of things to do in the surrouding area, We went up Pen Y Fan, did the Four Falls Walk, visited Rhossili, The Mumbles and Brecon in the few days we were there.
Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return .

Thank you Alison & Stephen.

“Short but sweet.”

I found this property whilst I was searching for a place, that wasn't too far from where I needed to be for my work. What a gem!
It has the most beautiful views, and the property itself had everything that I needed.
Add to that, a warm welcome from the owners, it had it all!

“Very nice, beautifully clean, perfect for what we needed.”
Reviewed 19 October 2017 for a stay in October 2017

This was just a one night business trip and we much prefer to find a self catering venue to a hotel. This was a lovely property, plenty of room, clean and comfortable. We didn't have a lot of time there but would recommend it. The pub over the road did a decent cheap bar meal. The house was very quiet - we slept well and if we are back in the area would certainly return.

We had an amazing week's stay at Llia Cysglyd. Everything about the cottage is spot on for a countryside retreat:
+ The cottage is lovely and clean - it's clear the owners take a lot of pride in keeping it nice
+ We had near everything we needed for our stay, e.g. DVDs, board games, blankets etc. - but note, there is no oven. This didn't bother us as we cooked all meals on the hob
+ Location was pretty faultless - there are stunning views straight out of the garden onto the valleys and the cottage was a great base for travelling to all Wales has to offer, e.g. from the Brecon Beacons to the coastline. We found it an easy drive every day, with the main sights, e.g. waterfalls less than 30 minutes away
+ It was very peaceful every night - we'd highly recommend it as a place to escape to

Alison was great at communicating with us throughout our booking and once at the cottage, Steve was fantastic at helping us settle in and it was a real pleasure getting to know him better.

This is definitely a place we would not hesitate coming back to - With lots still to do, we hope to stay again in future!
