The property is very poorly kept, the entire perimeter of the cottage was covered with gnats. The ceiling had mold and the bathroom faucets had rust. The gazebo is completely run down. The bedroom are decent but the guest bed and the sofa bed are very uncomfortable. They could improve the shoreline too. All in all an average experience. Maybe worth 800$, certainly not more.
The place was very nice, secluded and quiet. The washroom upgrades were nice, you can see there were some older toilets, instructions are still on the wall. The lake/bay water was clean. The bottom was rocky with smooth rock in some spots.
The frogs are characters and love to have their pictures taken.
This was an amazing visit for us to Tobermory. The weather was not very nice and there was a lot of fog, but the cottage was beautiful. It was clean and very roomy. The deck was a wonderful place to sit and watch the sunset over Lake Huron. We were a hop skip and a jump from everything - Little Tub Harbour, Big Tub Harbour and the Ferry to Manitoulin Island. Though we didn't have a need to use it, the cottage even had a beautiful fireplace. It had a very cozy feel to it and we had a wonderful stay. Thank you so much for letting us stay here!
This place is not pet friendly, There was no horse shoes to play with. We had to clean all the patio furniture before we could sit on it.
