“Delicious - a place to enjoy”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 May 2012

My boyfriend and i had dinner on 7th May 2012 at the restuarant St. James. As this restaurant is a waterfront, we had been placed at a very nice table with beautiful see view - very romantic,
We had ordered as a starter the salmon tartar ( nice could have been cut a bit thinner). For the main course we had ordered the fish Mahi Mahi with a sauce au vanille and the Papio with another special sauce.
For Dessert we ordered the creme brule trilogy -choloate, vanille and pistache,
Everything was so delicious !
The service was good and efficient.
The restaurant has as well a nice bar at the waterfront. Yesterday we went back to the bar and had a drink and a Lavazzo Espresso.
We like the atmosphere, the food and drinks and the people working there are nice. We will visit this restaurant /bar again before leaving Bora Bora end of next week.

“Best Meal While on Bora Bora”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 April 2012

My wife and I ate at St. James on 4/6/12, and had a very nice meal. We started with Tuna Tartar in a mango sauce that was excellent and we are not big on raw fish. My wife had the Mahi Mahi and I tried the Papio ( a deep water jack) which were done to perfection and excellent. We finished with the creme brule trilogy (enough for two persons) and the chocolate fallen cake which were both excellent.

This is a waterfront restaurant with a very nice ambiance. We highly recommend it.

“Simply wonderful”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 April 2012

We have just got back to our hotel after having dinner here and was so impressed that I had to write the review straight away. We went here for lunch a couple of days ago and booked again for tonight after a wonderful lunch.
This is a beautiful spot right on the water (there are not many places to eat outside your hotel over looking the water) with a great little bar attached. We both had the 5 course tasting menu (which cost less than an entree and main at our hotel) and it was amazing. We had scallop carpaccio, foie gras, fish, fillet of beef and red fruits and it was the best meal we have had since we left home. The service was very good too.
The great thing though was that they picked us up and dropped us off to our boat which took us back to the resort. Would definitely eat here again if it wasn't on the other side of the island.
