This was our second visit to Tiroran in late May and, once again, we had a wonderful experience. We love the overall ambience and sheer beauty of the place and it really is one of our favourite places.
Laurence was as welcoming and hospitable as we remembered. The setting is idyllic. We loved the Woodland room in the Annex with its super-big bed and spacious bathroom and tasteful decoration. We have found the food to be exceptional with excellent choice and variety. As an aside we don't go on holiday for the TV and wifi - but see it as a break away from these things too - so a poorish network isn't a problem for us. We wouldn't in any case hold the owners responsible for the network - or climate change, midges or Brexit either!
Tiroran is definitely off the beaten track - but that's what we like about it. The area is a haven for short-eared owl, hen harrier and both types of eagle. Among the possible walks around, there is a great walk westwards towards the coast with equally great opportunities to see wildlife.
Thank you so much Laurence and Katie. We hope to return next year if we can.More
