We booked the appartment for 12 nights beginning of April 2016- before the big holiday season started on Korsika. Everything went very well with Tiphaine and the flat was wonderfull clean and her pictures do neither exaggerate the beautiful landscape of Tolla nor the flat itself.
The kitchen and the flat in a pretty new state and everything that you need for having a good time is there.
As knowing from the Internet, Tolla is a very nice place in the countryside. You should be aware that the streets to Tolla are quite smal country streets but if you are a relaxed driver this is not a problem. As Tolla is a bit off the beaten track, for buying everything else than the essential groaseries you need to drive to one of the bigger towns. In Bastelica is a smal Proxi and also in Tolla a very smal epicery, but you should be aware of the opening hours.
At the moment when we were there, the connection from Bastia was not possible via Tavera to Bastelica crossing the Col de Scalella. For getting there, please follow the National N193 first going to Ajaccio and then turning to Tolla.
We had a great time doing a lot of Mountain Biking (bringing our own bikes) and some hikes starting directly in Tolla and in the area around.
All people from Tolla and Bastelica were extreme nice and friendly and made us feel absolutely welcome. Please be aware that the Corse people love their dogs and in the direct neighbourhood are quite many of them. We had a great time!
