Called in today for a quick lunch and had the best roast beef baggete you will ever eat, it was served in a toasted baggete with a thick gravy and added fried onions and mushrooms, a side salad and DA DA DAAAAAAAAA REAL CHIPS, see, not everyone does frozen, fresh is best. The kids menu was as you would expect with all the usual subjects and an ice cream for desert. If your passing call in you will recieve a really warm friendly greating.

I visited this pub today whilst on holiday in the area. We visited at lunchtime and it was quiet with a few locals in. The bar staff were very friendly and welcoming. The cook came out to speak to us as they were on a limited menu due to changes to menu in next few days. We had the sirloin, mixed grill, burger and gammon. The food was all delicious and included home cut chips ( not had them for many years!) My sirloin was cooked perfectly as was every one else's meal. Really couldn't fault it. Excellent value for money and would definitely recommend! Well done!
