This was a great way to spend an hour or two. Very informative little museum with good display and information. Well set out historical house section with lots of local history. Dont miss the old fire engine in one of the outbuildings. Entry was R25 for adults R10 for children.

This is a wonderful museum to visit in a lovely town. It is an educational visit with a lot of cultural history. Large, old anchors in a lovely garden with a barn of old tools, wagons and hearse - just beautiful. There is also a lot of information, history and artifacts from the way people lived in the area. Could be better maintained, though.

This museum had a rich and accurate history with a lot of amazing artifacts on display. Unfortunately the up keep isn't that great and there is a few instances where the buttons on maps etc did not work.

Located in Bredasdorp, this is one of the most educational, cultural, historical place to visit. Very affordable entry fee. Friendly staff. I believe it's the only museum having a resident cat. Don't forget to make a stopover if you are in this small town.

This is a small but interesting museum set in a lovely spacious garden with several buildings storing furniture, cars and other items of a bygone era.

The shipwreck museum is what you see immediately when you walk in. It is a small and cramped dark room with brief explanations of some of the nearby wrecks along the coast and some artifacts from them.

There is also a bit of history about diving.

You can easily see everything in an hour.

They also have spotless toilets.
