A clean, crisp, artistic and aromatic environment, powerful views of serene fields and woods, horses to rent and ride around amazing roads and trails. Coffee shops, markets and friendly faces everywhere!
I had a fantastic stay in Tuscany! The accommodations were spacious and luxuriant and had an authentic Tuscan flair. I was surrounded by beautiful artwork that I found out was created by the owner of this gracious home. I was only about 20 minutes from Siena and not too far from Florence which I was able to get to by bus and train. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a comfortable and peaceful setting in the heart of Tuscany!
The villa offers the "Real Tuscan" experience. This was my third stay here and I look forward to my return. The villa, besides its warmth, Tuscan charm and gracious helpful host is a serene gateway. You can relax in the gardens, or travel the country side, it is located in the heart of everything. A few miles from Siena, to wonderful medieval towns to the left and right, from museums, shopping and the most exceptional local restaurants. The choice is yours lots to do, but the best part is always the return to the comforting, welcoming beautiful villa for the most gratifying stay. I look forward to coming home here again and again. This time we made a BBQ of Chicken with Rosemary that I picked from the garden. I Highly Recommend this gem in the Tuscan Hills.
We stayed in this gorgeous villa for a week last May. The weather was sunny by day and cool by night. We lit the huge fireplace every night and drank lovely red wine by the fire. The home is surrounded by a fragrant wood, where birds sing all day and nightingales in the early morning. It is very private and there is a peacefulness that descends upon you when you settle in. The furnishings are beautiful, all country-antique. The home is super-comfortable. The caretaker was very helpful with answering our requests. The villa is in a small hilltop town and within a short driving distance of the magnificent town of Siena. We really got to see so much of Tuscany! Florence is only an hour, San Gimignano as well. Tuscany is paradise. But the best part is that the place is located in a truly Tuscan town, and we felt we were among the natives. We would go back to Villa la Pace in a heartbeat! We had one of the best vacations ever!!
