Family run hotel no luxury but very comfy and great location with a wonderful family pool. If you are looking for a nice place on the mainland on the Peloponnese.
Two options for food on location and many more a 5 minute drive away to the main town.

Our family of 4 just spent 3 nights at the Golden Sun. Perfect location, allowing us to walk into Finikounda when we wanted to but have some quiet as well. The pool is magnificent, as well as the private beach just a few steps away. Enjoyed having bar and food service. Room was very comfortable. Everyone at Golden Sun was very attentive. Thanks so much!

Room tip: We had beach and pool views!

We stayed 2 nights at this lovely hotel. They were very accommodating and very kind.
The location is perfect just on the perimeter of Finikoundas so that you have a most beautiful view of the village. You can still walk into town as it's not that far.
The beach, pool and hotel are very clean and have anything you need whether a meal, ice cream or drink. It is in a very peaceful setting. We relaxed by the pool and beach during the day and went into town in the evening. I would highly recommend this Hotel for short or longer stays.

First the good points...the hotel has a stunning location looking out onto Finikounda Bay. The rooms are in a large block with balconies on the seaward side - very much a motel-type construction. The pool is great and the poolside bar staff were friendly.

We arrived without a booking and were shown a couple of rooms which we took. Our room was clean but very basic. I would find staying here any extended time uncomfortable.

The breakfast buffet is pretty minimal as well. Nothing to get excited about.
The hotel is also a way out of town so you can’t just walk to restaurants.

The man who showed us to our rooms and collected our money the next morning was unsmiling and sour faced. He didn't make us feel welcome at all.
